Marshall Perkins joined the firm in 2019. He is involved in all areas of the firm’s litigation practice, with primary emphases on large-casualty tort cases, municipal law, and federal civil-rights litigation.
Marshall is originally from New Orleans. He graduated from Ben Franklin High School in 2003, and he received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. In law school, Marshall served on the editorial board of the Louisiana Law Review as executive senior editor.
After law school, Marshall served as law clerk in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana for two judges. He first clerked from Magistrate Judge Kathleen Kay, in Lake Charles, and then for District Judge Donald Walter, in Shreveport.
Marshall’s wife, Ashley Perkins, is a freshmen English teacher. Their son, Graham, joined the family in December 2020.
